Experienced Care Squad pull off a cracker of a meal

10 January 2019 | CFC News

It was great to have a good turnout for this year's Christmas dinner when around 20 young people and staff attended.

Huge thanks go to our ECS (Experienced Care Squad) for organising the event and for decorating the room at the Redwell Centre in Gloucester - it looked amazing.

Our ECS is a group of senior CFC young people who help shape the agency. They decided to organise the meal for all young people, including birth children.

Bev, the professional chef, cooked a delicious three-course meal which was served to the children by her helpful elves: Mark Kingston (CEO), Lyn Taylor (Registered Manager), Dan Jones (Business Development Manager), Sasha Hart (Family Care Manager) and Sarah Hilton (Supervising Social Worker) who all did a great job. Thank you all for helping.

The children even had a surprise visit from Father Christmas who gave them all a present to take home.

It was a very festive evening and a great way to start the Christmas holidays. Thanks again to everyone.
