My name is Sarah Adams and I started working in the Gloucester office as part of the Business Support team in early 2020. If you pick up the phone and hear a Scottish voice, that’s me! In the time I have worked here, I feel at home and so welcomed by all of the fantastic staff. I am excited to be part of such an amazing charity and knowing that my skills and experience will be used to help towards CFC’s mission and vision makes me happy.
Hello. My name is David Chappell, and I joined Community Foster Care as the Finance Manager in January 2021. I am a qualified accountant, with experience of working in a number of different audit and finance roles across many sectors.
I am married, with two teenaged children. When time allows, I enjoy playing piano, rowing and cycling.
Hi, I’m Heidi and I joined CFC in October 2019. My role as Business Support Officer includes placements, panel administration and ensuring the smooth running of the office in Gloucester. My background was supporting older people in later life, but personal experience and a keen interest in fostering has led me to CFC and I’m thrilled to be part of a passionate and dedicated team supporting children and families.
Out of work you’ll find me running around after my daughters or sat at the piano belting out a bit of musical theatre or a power ballad.
Hi, I'm Sheila and I've been with the charity since 2012. I am responsible for all admin functions and for ensuring the smooth running of our office in Lancashire.
Outside of work I'm a keen runner and enjoy taking part in regular 10K events. I undertook my first (and last) endurance challenge in 2014.
Hello my name is Evelyn, I am originally Kenyan but have been raised in the UK and I live in Weston Super Mare.
As a young girl I remember being deeply affected by witnessing the suffering of others on the streets, in the UK and also in Kenya. This inspired a passion and a drive in me to do whatever I can to help others and to do my best to instil positive change in the world. This is why I am most happy in a role that allows me to achieve that goal, and I am very happy and grateful to be a part of Community Foster Care, an organisation that shares the same values I do.
I enjoy spending my free time, with friends and family, traveling, cooking, reading, and happily wasting the rest of my time on Youtube and Netflix.
Hi, I'm Hannah, I'm responsible for the marketing of Community Foster Care and in turn recruiting new foster carers. I joined CFC at the start of 2020 but have been working in digital marketing and social media pretty much since graduating from my English degree in 2009. I'm a big believer in the power of storytelling and content marketing and have self-taught skills in video production, photography and design.
Most of my energy, outside of work, goes on my little dog, food, playing netball, fashion, travelling, pub quizzing, DIY and, y'know, fighting the patriarchy.

I have worked in admin and finance for seven years in various settings, the most rewarding being charities with an artistic or community focus. I’m looking forward to using my skills to support the great work CFC are doing and being part of the team than make it all happen.
Outside of work I have a husband, two teenage girls, a dog and two cats, all of which keep me plenty busy! I love to sing, anything from karaoke show tunes to big choral society stuff. I love being entertained and can’t wait to be able to visit theatres and comedy clubs once life gets back to some kind of normal again.
