2023’s Boy George-less Culture Club Programme

For those of you who don’t know, The Boy George-less Culture Club was born in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests following the murder of George Floyd in May, 2020.

With the spotlight shining brightly on systems of oppression and race relations, we realised we weren’t doing enough to tackle the problems George Floyd became symbolic of. We felt that discussion was vital in growing our community’s learning and unlearning. We accept that we will get things wrong in our journey but are dedicated in moving ourselves as individuals and as an organisation in the right direction of a more compassionate, informed and equitable society - see our EDI statement for more info.
