Anne - Trustee

I qualified as a generic social worker in 1977, eventually specialising in child care, and fostering in particular. I have worked in both the public and not for profit sectors, at managerial level and in different parts of the country. In 2004 I achieved an MBA – going back to academia was quite a challenge whilst I was still working full time!

When I retired in 2017, I had been working for another not for profit fostering agency as Director for 13 years.

I have lived on the side of the Malvern Hills for over 30 years and enjoy the mix of country and culture that Malvern brings. My hobbies are walking, horse riding and gardening.

I hold Trustee roles in two other charities that are concerned with children and disability.

I know Community Foster Care is a well managed and visionary organisation, striving to get the best for children and young people.I am delighted to be a Trustee of an agency with such strong values of integrity and professionalism.
