Meet our Senior Leadership Team
My name is Mark and I joined the Agency in 2018 as chief executive, having spent more than 20 years working in children’s services. I am a qualified Social Worker and have a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Services Management from Birmingham University.
Hi, I'm Emma and I joined Community Foster Care in 2012. Prior to this I worked for 12 years for a Local Authority, initially as a children and families social worker in the fieldwork team.
Hi, my name is Dan and I joined Community Foster Care in November 2016, having spent six years as a member of Community Foster Care's Fostering Panel.

Hi all, my name is Elnett Nyathi. I qualified as a Social Worker from University of Huddersfield in 2015 and worked for the Local Authority and another IFA before returning to Community Foster Care in February 2024 because I share the same values.
I am Supervising Social Worker based at CFC's Royal Wootton Bassett office in Wiltshire. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I have over 16 years' experience working with children and families.
Hi, my name is Sian and I am an independent social worker who has always worked in social care settings with children and young people and their families, both as a practitioner and manager.

My name is Michaela Marsh, I joined CFC in 2026, having come from a background in managing administrative operations in the hospitality sector.
Hi, I'm Sheila and I've been with the charity since 2012. I am responsible for all admin functions and for ensuring the smooth running of our office in Lancashire.
Hi, I'm Sarah, I'm the HR Officer for Community Foster Care. I've been in HR for 8 years, working in various settings including, Elderly Care and the Dental industry.
I am a qualified accountant, with experience of working in a number of different audit and finance roles across many sectors.
I am married, with two teenage children. When time allows, I enjoy playing piano, rowing and cycling.

Meet our Foster Care Panel
Jill Farrelly is a qualified social worker who has worked in social care for nearly 40 years. Much of her experience has been in children’s services latterly as a senior manager in a voluntary adoption agency. Jill is passionate about promoting positive outcomes for children and young people who are in the care system. She recognises and values the incredible difference foster carers can make to those children’s lives.
After each meeting, the Chair of the Panel will make recommendations to Community Foster Care' Decision Maker who will make the decision regarding approval of foster carers.
Jessica is a Panel Member, and works as a Fostering Social Worker for a local authority.
Brian was a long term carer in a third sector fostering organisation for over 20 years while continuing his career in teaching, social work, training, and until recently as a Tribunal Panel Member in the Care Standards, Mental Health, and Disclosure and Barring jurisdictions.
Lynne was a teacher for over 30 years, the majority of which as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Designated Teacher for Children in Care and also Safeguarding Lead.
Nweeda is an independent social worker, and has worked in the public sector for 25 years, in local government services of Education, Health and Children’s Social Care.
Jo has been a Panel member since 2003. She worked in education for twenty years, involved with a wide range of activities involving young people, families and schools.
Meet our Trustees
Jennie has lived in Gloucestershire all her life. After leaving school she spent eight years as a Police Constable in the county before setting up her own driving school. Eventually a love of children led her to undertake a teaching degree at Gloucestershire University.
Mariana joined the Board of Trustees in June 2011. Mariana was already aware of Community Foster Care’s reputation for innovation and forward-thinking before she became a Trustee.
My name is Stephenie Malone and I am an employment solicitor. West Country born, I currently live in Worcestershire and I have a young daughter.
