Coram/ BAAF

Coram/ BAAF is a national organisation that undertakes research in fostering and adoption issues. It also provides training for adopters, carers and social workers, and provides literature and guidance for staff practicing in both areas of child care. The assessment process for foster carers is based on their research and literature.

Children England

Community Foster Care is a member of Children England, the leading membership organisation for the children, young people and families voluntary sector.

The Fairer Fostering Partnership

Community Foster Care is a member of The Fairer Fostering Partnership, a group of charitable and not-for-profit fostering agencies across the UK whose members look after over 2,000 children in care. Fairer Fostering has a lobbying function that aims to advocate for children in respect of regulation, as well as representing its membership at central government level.

The Fostering Network

The Fostering Network is the national body that represents the interests of all foster carers in the United Kingdom. Carers at Community Foster Care become members of The Fostering Network and we pay the individual carer’s annual membership fee. Membership affords carers access to advice and guidance, including legal advice if necessary.

Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers (NAFP)

NAFP aims to be the voice of the independent and voluntary fostering sector for children and young people, and to promote the highest standards of professional and business practice within its membership.

Skyrocket

Skyrocket is a collaborative project committed to improving care for children by assisting organisations with training. This includes training for foster carers beyond core foster care skills as well as enhanced training for professionals, including operations, audit, senior leadership, board workshops, governance, and strategy.
