Francis - Supervising Social Worker, Gloucestershire (He/Him)

My name is Francis. I come from Ghana in West Africa. I am locally called Awotwe which means eight (8).

I have been living in the United Kingdom since July 2005. I qualified with MSc Social Work from Birmingham City University in 2020.

I have been a teacher by profession, a soldier in the British Army by employment, and now a Social Worker by a career choice.

Right before joining Community Foster Care, I worked for Gloucestershire Adult Social Care in a community team. Community Foster Care (CFC) was introduced to me by a recruitment specialist. I researched CFC before making an application and being accepted for an interview. I like CFC and I am proud to be a member of the family as I believe I will be working within a supportive, close-knit team that has friendly working ethics.
