Senior Leadership Team

Mark Kingston - Chief Executive

My name is Mark and I joined the Agency in 2018 as chief executive, having spent more than 20 years working in children’s services. I am a qualified Social Worker and have a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Services Management from Birmingham University.

Outside of work I enjoy family time with my teenage boys, cheering on Bristol Bears rugby, collecting check shirts and reading about pirates.

Emma Weaver - Registered Manager for the Fostering Service

Hi, I'm Emma and I joined Community Foster Care in 2012. Prior to this I worked for 12 years for a Local Authority, initially as a children and families social worker in the fieldwork team. I have also worked as a senior adoption support worker, involved in the delivery of training programmes for prospective and existing adoptive parents and foster carers, as well as providing therapeutic support to children with attachment and behavioural difficulties.

My three girls and dog, Rufus, keep me busy outside of work!

Sasha Hart - Family Care Manager

Hey! I'm Sasha and I manage the edge of care and support services across Community Family Care. I joined CFC in 2012 and feel very lucky to get to work with such great people every day. From the young people and families to my fab team, every day is not only different but usually completed with a big smile.

I have a degree in psychology from Cardiff uni and also a qualification in leadership and management. My background has been in working with children, young people, and families across children’s centres, family support, youth work settings and family courts. At home you'll usually find me out walking and exploring National Trust sites and the coast. I also love music, I collect vinyl and try to get to gigs regularly.

Dan Whitson-Jones - Business Development Manager

Hi, my name is Dan and I joined Community Foster Care in November 2016, having spent six years as a member of CFC's Fostering Panel. Prior to this I was Deputy CEO for a transition charity who offered supported accommodation to homeless young people and those with mental health issues. I am a qualified youth and community worker and spent five years working for Young Gloucestershire where I managed their county-wide youth work provision.

In my spare time I enjoy live music, rugby (I'm a Gloucester lad), recreational cocktail making and organising trips with friends.
